Joni Mitchell ha lanzado este viernes la cuarta entrega de su serie de archivo, “Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980)”.
Lo más destacado de esta colección incluye grabaciones y tomas alternativas de tres de los álbumes de Mitchell, “Hejira”, “Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter” y “Mingus”, además de cortes en vivo de varias giras, incluida la Rolling Thunder Revue de Bob Dylan.
Rhino ha publicado “Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980)”, un período en el que la extraordinaria cantautora continuó innovando creativamente con su exploración intrépida y fluida del jazz.
La colección, publicada en versión digital de 6 CDs, así como en una versión de 4 LPs con los “favoritos personales” de Mitchell de la versión de 6 CDs, incluye potentes temas en vivo de su época en la Rolling Thunder Revue durante la gira de 1975 y 1976 por los EE. El comunicado oficial del disco destaca el poder de cambio y renovación de Mitchell:

Actualmente, Mitchell tiene previsto realizar dos espectáculos en el Hollywood Bowl de Los Ángeles el 19 y 20 de octubre, con invitados especiales en las “Joni Jams”.
