New Order han anunciado una reedición en formato deluxe de su álbum de estudio de 1986, “Brotherhood“.
El cuarto álbum de la banda electrónica de Manchester, publicado originalmente a través de Factory Records, los vio ahondar más en el post-punk y la electrónica, dividiendo cada lado del disco con dos atmósferas sonoras distintivamente diferentes.
Ahora, un box set de edición limitada, titulada “Brotherhood (Definitive Edition)”, saldrá a través de Warner Music el 22 de noviembre, celebrando el álbum seminal.
La reedición incluye un LP de vinilo del álbum original y dos CDs: uno con una versión remasterizada del álbum original y otro con nueve temas inéditos y demos de una sesión de grabación de 1985 en Japón.
Los fans también tendrán acceso a dos DVDs con apariciones en televisión, incluida una actuación en 1987 en Top Of The Pops, y actuaciones en directo en el Brixton Academy en 1987, G-Mex en Manchester en 1986 y Glastonbury en 1987, entre otras.
La banda también ha incluido versiones maxisingle de éxitos como ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’, ‘State of the Nation’ y ‘Touched by the Hand of God’.
Esta es la cuarta edición limitada que la banda que se ha lanzado hasta la fecha. El año pasado, celebraron el 40 aniversario de su canción seminal “Blue Monday” y anunciaron ediciones reeditadas de su compilación clásica “Substance 1987” para conmemorar el hito del álbum más vendido de la banda hasta la fecha.
