Pete Townshend va a publicar nueve raros conciertos en solitario en un enorme box set de 14 discos titulada simplemente “Live in Concert 1985-2001”.

Inicialmente, estas raras grabaciones solo estaban disponibles en el sitio web de Townshend, y todas han estado descatalogadas durante dos décadas.
El paquete “Live in Concert 1985-2001” se completa con un libro de tapa dura de 26 páginas con notas del archivero de la banda Matt Kent, una nueva entrevista exclusiva con Townshend y fotografías poco comunes.
Townshend, uno de los artistas más legendarios del rock inglés, admite ahora que intentar tener carreras paralelas con The Who y como artista en solitario finalmente se convirtió en algo más de lo que pudiera manejar.
“Tengo que vivir suficiente vida para proporcionarme inspiración y contexto para mis canciones, luego tengo que pasar suficiente tiempo en el estudio de mi casa perfeccionando las canciones para que se sientan dignas de The Who, dijo Townshend en un comunicado oficial.
